Maranatha Kidz is led by Sue Thornton and Christy Spicer.
"I am thankful to God that I have been able to serve him by sharing that love with children over the last 40 years. In different places of ministry, but first in my home, then Sunday School, Awana, Vacation Bible School and Good News Club with Child Evangelism Fellowship.
It is a privilege and joy to serve on the Children’s Ministry Team at Maranatha. In joining together we so desire to build relationships with the children and their families. To show them the love of Jesus and to share with them God’s Word, the Bible, and how it can transform their lives!"

"I have taught Children's Church, Sunday School, helped with VBS, and served in a ministry to elementary aged girls. I was involved in CEF in college, and taught a Good News Club two out of the four years I was there. In 2012, I was asked to serve on the Children's Ministry Team at Maranatha. I enjoy serving with other individuals who have a heart for children and want to see them build their lives on Jesus. It is very important to me that the Bible is taught to children in a way they can understand and is applicable to their lives. I want them to know the Bible is real and should change the way they think, act, and live. Building relationships with children is also an important part of ministering to them. I love getting to know them and their families, and our children's staff is very good at this, as well."
